1 Identification

Procedures are in place to identify the inspection and test status of material and products.
Types of identification used in the quality system to indicate the conformance or non-conformance of material or products are (but not limited to):

• Lot control cards

• Inspection reports

• Receiving tags

• Non-conforming tags

• RMR's and log books

The inspection and test status of all material and product shall be maintained throughout production to ensure that only acceptable material and product are released.

2 Records

Procedures are in place for the issuance, control, storage and archiving of records that indicate the acceptance or non-conforming material or product.
